Hot Drink Cafe Dramatic Play

$5.00
Checkout Added to cart

Invite your young learners to make and serve hot chocolate, tea, and coffee at their very own HOT DRINK CAFE dramatic play center. They can use menus to choose their drink, complete an order form, and act just like their parents do when they visit their favorite coffee shop! This is a great center to set up during your Winter Unit.

Easy, Print & Go PDF:

Includes everything you need to set up a Hot Drink Cafe in your dramatic play center.

  • Open/Closed Sign
  • Hot Drink Cafe Menu (in full color)
  • Order Forms (These match the menu to encourage emergent literacy and pre-writing skills. They are 1/2 page in back & white)
  • Prop Labels (hot chocolate, cups, mugs, stirrers, marshmallows, etc.)
  • Employee Role Play Tags (Drink Maker, Maker, Cashier, Manager, Customers)
  • How-To Directions (Signs to hang that show how to make hot chocolate)
  • Pennant Bunting (“Star Drinks” We print this in B&W onto colored construction paper.)
  • “Betsy Book” – This adorable 9-page book is perfect to read aloud to your class while introducing the new dramatic play center.
GREAT!
This is a great dramatic play resource to use in winter and the holiday season! Used it with plastic cups and spoons, cotton ball marshmallows, and a sitting area.

Best purchase of the year
This is one of my favorite dramatic play centers of all time!!! It is easy to set up, easy to clean up, and HIGHLY engaging. Even students who are usually more reluctant to participate have seen their mother's order Starbucks and look forward to playing every day. My daughter, who worked as a barista, brought home some old cardboard stands and designed a chalkboard sign to add to the fun. Best purchase from TPT this year!
