Last year, our neck of the woods got a ton of snow. Fifteen snow days, to be exact. I lost track of the number of delays. This year there hasn’t been a flake of snow in the sky, so we have to do a lot of winter art to make up for it! Sparkly Snow Paint is quick and easy to make, and so much fun to use.
Step 1:
Use a white crayon to draw snow pictures on black or dark blue construction paper.
Step 2:
Mix up some “Sparkly Snow Paint”
1/2 cup liquid starch
1/4 cup salt
a dash of white or silver glitter
Step 3:
Brush Sparkly Snow Paint over the construction paper.
Step 4:
Dry the painting on a flat surface.
That’s it! So, if you are like us and just dreaming of a little bit of white stuff on the ground, whip up Sparkly Snow Paint for your children and keep dreaming.
