It really doesn’t take many fancy materials or a ton of time to set up a great process art project. For this creative activity, I cut a bunch of blue paper into long 1″ strips. We added some scissors, glue sticks and crayons and invited the little artists to get to work.
It is always so fascinating to see all of the ideas that they come up with.
This friend spent most of her time at the center coloring a “car driving on the road with its bright lights on.” Then at the end, she glued 2 strips of light blue paper to the top to make the sky!
Finally, this little friend spent all of his time gluing the strips down horizontally across the paper. He talked the whole time about his weekend, his friends, his “funny stories.” It was such a beautiful few minutes connecting with him. Then at the end, he announced, “I am done with my air conditioner! Look, it will blow the air to keep you cold in the winter!”
Isn’t preschool a wonderful place to be?!!
Love your creative kiddos! Adorable!
