Getting dressed in winter clothes can be a long and stressful part of the day. Use this Winter Clothing Interactive Folder to teach young children, and children with autism and special needs, the correct order to put on winter clothing.

This file includes an interactive file folder game as well as a handy visual checklist that you can post in the classroom and also send home with your students’ families. Both activities include options for 4 steps (Put on boots, coat, hat, mittens) and 5 steps (Put on pants, boots, coat, hat mittens).

This Winter Clothing Interactive Folder activity is a great addition to our complete Winter Circle Time Unit.

I recommend this!
Even though this is a winter activity I was excited to try it with my in-person students. I turned it into a magnet centerboard. My kids enjoyed dressing the kids in the correct clothing. There was lots of trial and error and that was part of the fun/learning. I would recommend this for anyone who has littles that need to get dressed for winter.

Just what I needed!
Just what I needed to help my students remember the importance of the order of putting on snow clothes. Before this, everyone was putting on boots & mittens first.

Perfect!
Perfect visuals to discuss then display by their cubbies to help remind students of how to put on their snow clothing to play outside!!
