During Virtual Preschool this week we will learn 5 silly nursery rhymes. Unlike fairy tales which are stories, nursery rhymes are short poems. They have characters, rhymes, and new words. It is fun and important to memorize a bunch of them!
Each day, there is a welcome song & dance, a mini-lesson or flannel board story about the topic of the day, a fingerplay, games, and a story. Parents (and teachers) can also download additional play and learning activities to go with each lesson.

These look like great resources for English speakers. Do you have anything for English Language Learners?
Jamie White, M.Ed.
I don’t have anything specific for ELLs, but lots of our strategies (visual supports, language development) would work well.
Kelly
Great resources, thank you for generously sharing them!

Hi Jamie,
I am wondering where you got the plastic figures you used for Hey Diddle Diddle?

I would really like information on the alphabet letters you have on the wall behind you please

My 2.5 year old loves Miss Jamie all the way from Australia! Although younger than the target audience she runs around the house after singing the songs and calling for Betsy. She also gives the worksheets a good crack, which she would never have done before!

Thank you so much. During this quarantine, this has allowed us to continue my daughter’s education with fun moments!

Thank you for this wonderful experience for my granddaughter. She asks for her preschool class time and is totally focused. I am hoping you will continue to provide these throughout the summer and next school year. I am willing to purchase this so that my granddaughter can have a virtual preschool experience as she will not be going to school until 2021/22 for K at the earliest.
