Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the Lounge for?
Home childcare providers, preschool, Pre-K, and TK teachers, day care staff, and early childhood educators in public or private schools. If you work with kids ages 3–5, this is your place.
I’m a brand-new teacher. Will this help me?
Yes! The Lounge was made with you in mind. You’ll get real-life support, simple tools, and a community to lean on when things get overwhelming.
I’m a veteran teacher. Is this still for me?
Absolutely. Experienced teachers often tell me they love having a place to reflect, refresh, and reconnect with why they teach. The Lounge offers new ideas, a supportive community, and space to grow even if you’ve been in the classroom for years.
Will this be more work for me?
Nope. It’s called a lounge for a reason. It’s not a program to keep up with—it’s a place to refill your cup. Come when you need support, take what you need, and skip what you don’t.
Do I have to show up live?
No. All content will be saved and available all year long. You can access it when the timing is right for you. No pressure. No deadlines.
Is it a recurring membership?
No. It’s a one-time payment that gives you access for the whole 2025–26 school year (August through May). No monthly fees. No auto-renewals.
Can I join later?
The Lounge is only open for new members during the Back to School season. Once the doors close, we’ll stick together as a consistent group for the full year.
Can I cancel?
Since the membership includes digital materials and immediate access, there are no refunds. Your Lounge pass is good for the entire year.
Can I use the training videos for PD hours?
Each month includes a training video and a printable certificate for 1 hour of training. It’s up to your state, district, or licensing agency whether it qualifies—so be sure to check locally.
What are the monthly topics?
We’ll announce each topic at the beginning of the month. You can expect things like:
• How to Set Up a Play-Based Classroom
• Classroom Management
• Invitations to Play
• Effective Family Communication
• Process Art without the Pressure
• Getting Organized… and more
What’s the time commitment each month?
The Lounge is completely flexible. Each month includes one main topic, a short training video, and a few optional extras like a classroom tour or Zoom chat. You can engage as much or as little as your schedule allows.
Does this include the TpT printables from the complete curriculum?
No. This is a separate resource. The Lounge focuses on support, community, and real-life solutions—not printable lesson plans.
What platform is it hosted on? Do I need special software?
There is a private Facebook group for community connection, and all of the monthly videos and materials will be available to log into through our website. No special apps or software needed—just your usual internet browser.
Can I share the materials with my co-teacher or team?
Each membership is for one individual. If others on your team are interested, they’ll need their own Lounge pass to access the materials and community.
