Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Boom and Boom and Boom…
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is such a popular idea for a beginning-of-the-year preschool bulletin board! With the bright colors and “falling” letters, it provides the perfect backdrop for class names on the bulletin board. Here’s what you’ll need to set this up:
- green and brown construction paper for the tree
- bright colored construction paper for the names
- Thick Sharpie or marker for outlining
- class list
To assemble the bulletin board, simply cut large palm leaves from the green paper and circular coconuts from the brown paper. Then use brown rectangular sections to create the trunk. Now add in the large capital letters from each of the students’ names, and you have an inviting bulletin board where children can search to find their names.
