My First Tracing Cards

Learning to write letters is important for preschoolers and kindergartners. These tracing cards break down the writing strokes into easy, manageable steps.

This set includes:

26 pages – 1 for each letter of the alphabet

Each page has 4 tracing cards: 2 for the upper case letter and 2 for the lower case letter.

These tracing cards are printer-friendly and low prep! Just print, cut, and laminate.

Students can use dry-erase markers to trace the letters, erase, and then practice again.

Great for beginners!
These have been great with my students that are just beginning to trace and write. Simple enough for beginning and advanced writers.

What I've been looking for!
Just what I have been looking for. I love the focus on the upper and lower case letters. I have been focusing on what types of lines we see in each letter. We practice writing in our fine motor journals, along with using these cards with dry erase markers in our writing center.

Students love it!
I used this resource in my writing center this year. I laminated the pages and cut them into strips. My students loved using markers or crayons to practicing their pre-writing shapes to form letters. They also loved wiping them off themselves.
